2.3 Gingerbread, well good news if you own one as Vodafone has now
released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Huawei Ascend
G300.
In order to install the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Huawei Ascend G300, you will first need to install a smaller update to the devices existing software, and then you can update the device to Android 4.0.3 ICS.
The Android ICS 4.0.3 firmware upgrade for the Huawei Ascend G300 is now available.
A message will appear in the notification bar at the top of your screen when the update is available. Please ensure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi connection to perform this update and follow the on screen instructions.
